How it works
An agent combining particles of polymer PLA (polylactic acid) with hyaluronic acid, which is present in human skin tissue. It works by prompting the body's own collagen to form where it has been injected, so the approach differs from a filler that adds volume. Volume does not appear straight away. The change comes over the period in which collagen settles into place, so the sessions are divided at four-week intervals.
